Our mixed media classes offer hands-on, creative experiences for preschoolers, children, youth, and teens. Students explore a variety of artistic materials and techniques while developing confidence, creativity, motor skills, and their own individual artistic style.
**NEW Classes are now offered in 6 week sessions, followed by a one-week break before the next six-week session begins. We are Closed for all Stat Holidays, Snow Day Closures, and March Break.
Each session includes:
Six classes lead by an artist instructor.
New weekly projects.
All art materials provided.
A welcoming, wheelchair-accessible studio.
Opportunities to explore different artistic mediums and techniques.
Projects may include drawing, colour, watercolour, acrylic painting, printmaking, bookbinding, paper, designing, sculpture, ceramics, and more.

This class is designed for beginners or youth (11 years old and under) with little or no previous art experience. Students are guided through sensory-rich, process-based projects that encourage curiosity, play, experimentation, and creative confidence. Children explore different materials and techniques while building foundational art and motor skills. Projects are adapted to support each child’s interests, abilities, and comfort level.

This class is designed for returning intermediate youth students or 12+ teens who are ready to build on foundational skills and explore more detailed or time-intensive projects. Students may explore drawing, colour, painting, printmaking, bookbinding, paper engineering, sculpture, ceramics, toy design, and other mixed media techniques. Although the class is described as intermediate, students do not need to be advanced. Projects are adapted to each student’s experience, interests, and artistic goals.

This playful class is designed as a child’s first positive experience in an art studio. Children explore art through sensory play, imaginative activities, and hands-on creative projects.
Classes may include painting, sculpture, pastels, watercolour, acrylics, felting wool, beeswax, printmaking, paper engineering, papier-mâché, fabric, recycled materials, markers, crayons, and pencil crayons.
We also bring inspiration from the natural world into the studio through age-appropriate, relaxing, and imaginative activities.
